WPC The Colour Green – Expressed in Photos

This weeks challenge is all about the colour Green.

Sometimes it’s fun to take a step back from interpretive challenges and just celebrate a color: green! With Monday’s vernal equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere — not to mention the St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans in many cities over the weekend — it seemed like a great time to bask in the color of spring rebirth (and leprechauns).

I have chosen a few photos that while may not be totally green, the colour certainly is prominent in all the photos, and in some of them quite significant.

I guess this falls under the category of an unlikely occurrence. I don’t know. To get a Monkey to pose? Never happened to me before!

I have chosen a few photos from One World Observatory. Built when the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre came down in 2011.

Weekly Photo Challenge Ambience 2

My second entry into this weeks Photo Challenge, Ambience.

This was taken at Lepe Beach, Hampshire. We frequent there often, but this was one of the few occasions we hung around for the sunset.

Skies were blue, the odd cloud which adds texture to the setting ball of fire. As slow a shutter speed I could muster resulted in this.
